We provide a base quote for your project, which covers the 3 aqua colored markers on the timeline above
(Establish Style / Remaining Design / Final Version). If you approve, we complete a small amount of work first to establish style, then the remainder. We start with 1-5 pages of the full piece (depending on project size) to create your unique look and feel.
Each project quote includes 3 choices for this early “Establish Style” phase:
We can’t predict the edits you’ll desire on the journey, so they are separate to your base quote. We can either tell you
time utilized on edits as they’re implemented, or quote each edit for you in advance of completion. Please communicate edits via things like written notes, marked images, a video, etc –something we can refer back to. We’ll align the visuals that we make with your current branding to keep things cohesive. If there’s a mistake made on our end, we fix that off-the-clock with no charge.
Once finished, we send a final version (and can cater to custom print specs too).

Between us, we have 22 years of combined industry experience. Liza received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Parsons in New York, and Tim has an artistic and engineering background that he’s been developing through professional work for many years. We truly enjoy working together, and we form a strong unit that has maintained success and stood the test of time. We’re open communicators who authentically care about people, we go the extra mile with our craft, and are able to handle increases in workload as required. We’re grateful that our formal study, training and experience allow us to live an artistic life as a husband & wife team.

How does working with a husband & wife duo work?
While we collaborate together on creative art and design elements, we also each contribute with our own unique strengths. Tim enjoys setting up automation systems during the process and Liza likes to iterate on the look & feel of the style. We both have that creative eye, we both do graphic design work, and we stay updated with the tasks we have on the table together. Liza takes care of communications though we are both in the loop with client interactions. Bringing projects to life with our process is something that has brought much joy to many pieces over the years, for both our clients and ourselves.
Who has copyright?
You do. Once a job is finished and paid in full, you have copyright of the visuals we created for you. If you would like to give us permission to display your project in our portfolio, it's greatly appreciated. If you prefer not to, no worries at all. If you need editable source files, just let us know and we can include that in the quote.
Are you W-9 contractors or W-2 employees?
We are W-9 independent contractors, though we have experience integrating into existing workflows through Slack or Asana etc and operate as an extension of your current team.
Will you sign a NDA?
Yes, we're happy to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement before discussing your project. If you need an NDA but don't have one prepared, just let us know and we can provide a template. We take your privacy and intellectual property seriously.
How do you use AI?
Our words are us. If we’re communicating with you, it’s a real human interaction. The creative iteration of making designs is done by us. We appreciate AI’s ability to expand possibilities in the world, while also wanting to remain connected to that which makes us human. Creativity comes from the soul and it’s a big part of life that we enjoy. The relationship we all have with AI is changing quickly, and it’s important for us to communicate about it.
We use AI for research, learning, and better understanding things (in both work & daily life). It helps us create official documents like contracts. Some photography we use is made with AI, though we also add our human touch. AI helps us expand certain pictures out on the edges, though we do not create our own faces / identities with AI. Currently layout is done by-hand from us directly, though if we collaborated with AI on that in the future we would remain at the helm of the creation process and apply our experience to making the right artistic decisions that result in a polished, balanced design.
How does payment work?
We enjoy using Stripe and Venmo, but if you have a different preference please let us know. There are no hidden fees. We can’t predict the edits you’ll desire on the journey, so they are separate to your base work. You can pay in full or installments (with 15% upfront and following payments due as work is delivered). Turnaround under 48 hrs is considered a rush job. If we can accommodate (once confirmed), 10% of the base work quote is added onto total cost. No additional cost for anything over 48 hrs.
What is your turn around time & availability?
We can usually accommodate if you have a specific turn around need for any service, but it depends. So please include that information in your outreach message and we’ll let you know.
